Your Fishing Charter

Spend the day with Carson's Guide Service and see what's biting in Shady Cove! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Christopher knows them forwards and back. 

These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. On these trips, you can expect to drift. May and June are the month's for the Upper Rogue River Spring Chinook Salmon fishing season! If your visiting in the area or just want to fish for Salmon, we will get you on the water!!

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip! 

You'll be casting lines from a 17' Willie Boats drift boat with space for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
