Excited to cast a line in Kewaunee? Then FatBoy Fishing has a trip with your name on it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Zak can tell you all about the local fishery. 

These waters are home to Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, and more with any luck. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized! 

You'll be dropping lines from a 28' Bayliner cuddy cabin with room for 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We offer locals a chance to fish on Lake Michigan who may not own the equipment to do so. We love this area and the people in it and want them to be able to enjoy this experience too.  If you live within an hour and a half from Kewaunee, you can book an individual day trip for 5 hours you will share the boat with other locals. We provide all the equipment needed to fish. You can bring a small cooler, sunscreen, dress for the weather that can get cold. Id will be asked for.(minimum of 3 needed to sail)

We love our Seniors!  Set out to sail on this shared experience up to 4 people.  Sign up individually or with a few friends, this trip is designed for the fish loving seniors! We will clean and bag your catch for you and provide all the gear needed to fish! 60 years and older

We will be fishing for mostly Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout and/or Whitefish! This Package includes all the gear you will need to fish. We provide fish cleaning and bagging if desired.  Please pick up your fishing licenses prior to boarding the boat, bring a cooler with your favorite drinks and snacks, don't forget hats and sunscreen.  We are on big water and the weather can change quickly so be prepared to be warm or cold and dress appropriately. Let's get ready to make some memories! (For 4 people)

4 Hour Trip – Deep Lake Adventure

Enjoy extended open water time on this trip!  Feel free to bring a cooler, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing as it can get cold out there.  We will clean and bag your fish for you.  Please let us know if you choose for us to NOT use any photos from the trip on our advertising and social media.  Get ready to spend time on the open waters and see what you can catch! (For 4 people)

6 Hour Trip – Deep Lake Adventure

Enjoy extended open water time on this trip!  Feel free to bring a cooler, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing as it can get cold out there.  We will clean and bag your fish for you.  Please let us know if you choose for us to NOT use any photos from the trip on our advertising and social media.  Get ready to spend several hours on the open waters and see what you can catch! No matter if we catch anything or not you will be sent home with some smoked salmon from Capt. Zak himself! (For 4 People)
