Your Fishing Charter

Atlantic City has a fish with your name on it, so let Overtime Sportfishing help you catch it! Captain Dave will be your guide, so you'll benefit from their knowledge and experience. 

Around here it's common to catch Mahi Mahi, White Marlin, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Wahoo, Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Tautog, Crab, and more with any luck. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks! 

You'll be casting lines from a 26' Regulator center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

4-hour wreck trip targeting flounder and sea bass, up to 10 miles offshore.

4 Hour Trip – Sea Bass Wreck Trip

Fishing 5 to 20 miles offshore for Flounder, Sea Bass, or Tautog, depending on the season.

8 Hour Trip – Sea Bass Wreck/Reef

Fishing the back bays for flounder, weakfish, and striped bass.

8 Hour Trip – Back-Bay Flounder

Trolling 15-30 miles for Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Bonita, Mackerel, and Wahoo.

This trip offers a chance to catch Wahoo 25 to 40 miles off New Jersey. We high-speed troll to cover ground and specifically target Wahoo. The prime season for this trip is August through October.

12 Hour Trip – Wahoo Troll

30–55 miles offshore to target Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, with Mahi Mahi and Wahoo also commonly sought.

8 Hour Trip – Midshore

Trolling and/or live bait fishing within 40 miles, available from late summer through New Year’s.

8 Hour Trip – Giant Bluefin Tuna

Mahi fiahing in the canyoms occasionally tuna as well. The best time for this trip is August through October. We will deep drop for tilefish and sword fish also.

12 Hour Trip – Mahi-Tilefish Canyon

Travel 70–90 miles out to the Northeast Canyons to target Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi, and many other species. Experience marine life and nature at its finest in the Gulf Stream eddies off New Jersey.
