Your Fishing Charter

Marsh View Fishing Charters will take you deep sea fishing in Charleston, South Carolina. The fishing here is great year round, with vast opportunities that vary depending on the season. Guiding your charter is Capt. Tim Mullins, an experienced local captain who will take you anywhere from five to 60 miles offshore.

Step aboard a 32’ Contender, equipped with twin Yamaha engines and all of the latest technology. With a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots, you will spend less time traveling and more time enjoying the best of Charleston deep sea fishing. 

Capt. Tim offers a variety of opportunities, depending on what you want to target and how much time you have. For families looking to test the waters, a five hour nearshore trip provides a wonderful first-time experience. On this excursion you can fish wrecks and reefs for Spadefish, Sheepshead, Barracuda, and Cobia when the season allows. 

If you’re looking for something slightly more adventurous, travel 15 to 20 miles offshore and troll for larger fish such as King Mackerel and Amberjack. You can also target bottom fish like Snappers, Groupers, Seabass, and more. While the six hour trip keeps you closer to shore, the eight hour trip takes you as far as 35 miles out, where you are likely to spend more time bottom fishing than trolling, depending on the season. 

If you are looking for the ultimate Charleston deep sea fishing experience, join Capt. Tim from March to mid November and spend the entire day trolling the Gulf Stream. On this trip you will travel as far as 60 miles out, catching Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Sailfish, and Marlin.

Marsh View Fishing Charters provides a fishing license, and all the gear you need. You can keep your catch and Capt. Tim will clean and fillet it for you. Come prepared to have a great time!

This trip runs 15 to 20 miles out and includes live bait trolling for Amberjack, King Mackerel, and Cobia. On this trip, you may also bottom fish for Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Seabass, and more. Please note that due to rising fuel cost, a 5 to 10% fuel surcharge may be added to all offshore and nearshore trips.
