Shallow Water Guide Service invites you to fish the shallow water back bays and creeks in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida! This area is known for its abundance of inshore fisheries and productive waters year-round. Whether you're after a good game fish or tasty table fare, Captain Joey Shogren will hook you up. 

You'll fish aboard a 24’ Yellowfin bay boat originally built in 2014 and perfect for up to 4 anglers. The vessel is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, with a whopping top speed of 65 knots. 

Capt. Joey has equipped this beauty with a live well, an icebox, a fighting chair, and a wireless trolling motor to help you reach very shallow waters. Add top-notch fish-locating electronics and you're ready to head out!

Your main targets are Snook, Redfish, Trout, and Tarpon. If you're looking for more variety and some good table fare, Mangrove Snapper, King Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Permit, and Blacktip Shark round things up nicely. Alternatively, you can target Ladyfish and Jack Crevalle as sound game fish options.

Shallow Water Guide Service always provides top-notch fishing gear in the form of Penn and Shimano rods and reels, a variety of lures and bait, ice, water, Gatorade, and fishing licenses. 

Captain Joey can also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip, so make sure you bring a cooler to transport it home. There's nothing better than enjoying your own catch at dinner!

The 4-hour trip will take you fishing in the productive inshore waters surrounding Fort Myers Beach. Captain Joey specializes in back bay and inshore fishing and you'll target Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon. Gear is included, as are soft drinks. 

Half Day Trip (AM)

This shark chasing adventure will see you cruising through the Florida shallows and nearshore waters looking for Blacktip, Bull, and Hammerhead Sharks. These exciting fish put up a good fight, making this trip ideal for action lovers. Bring your camera and any snacks you’d like to enjoy. All the fishing gear you need will be provided by the captain.

Half Day Trip – Sharks (PM)

Fish around docks and inlet passes when the fish are feeding best! You'll target the likes of Snook, Redfish, and Tarpon. Night trips offer some of the best fishing in the area and a chance to beat the heat during the summer months. All of your gear is provided, as are some soft drinks. 

4 Hour Trip – Night Fishing

The 6-hour long trip will take you fishing in the productive waters surrounding Fort Myers, Florida. Capt. Joey specializes in back bay and inshore fishing and will have you targeting Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon. You can also target other species including Sharks, Permit, King Mackerel, and Grouper depending on the time of year.

3/4 Day Trip

If you happen to be in town during Tarpon season, this is a trip you don’t want to miss! Take your shot at battling it out the mighty “Silver King” in the inshore waters surrounding Fort Myers. This is a great trip for anglers looking for the true Florida experience. All the gear you need will be provided, just be sure to bring snacks and refreshments. 

3/4 Day Trip – Tarpon Fishing

There's nothing quite like the spending 8 hours in the productive waters surrounding Fort Myers! Capt. Joey specializes in back bay and inshore fishing for Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon. You can also target other species including Sharks, Permit, King Mackerel, and Grouper depending on the time of year. He'll provide all the gear you need to make sure you have a productive day doing so!
