Carly A Sportfishing offers year-round Gulf Stream Charters out of Oregon Inlet in the Outer Banks of NC, departing  from Pirate’s Cove Marina. Captain Jon Weiss has over 20 years of fishing experience, so he has the knowledge to make sure your trip is productive.

the Carly A, a 57’ Johnson Boatworks flybridge boat. It is a seaworthy fishing machine powered by twin 800 HP Caterpillar engines. It is rigged with state-of-the-art navigational electronics and was built with safety in mind. The boat can accommodate up to 6 anglers.

With the local waters world-renowned for excellent sportfishing opportunities and the crew that was born to fish, you have all the chances to have the time of your life. Each trip comes with everything you need to make an outstanding catch. You will have tournament-grade tackle and bait, as well as a license. 

Leave all your problems and worries behind! The local waters are home to a variety of fish species. Whether you are looking for a special day with your friends and family or just want to catch the big one, the crew got you covered. On your day out, you will be going for Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Blackfin, Bluefin, Yellowfin, and Bigeye Tuna. 

You only need to bring something to eat and drink, your camera, appropriate clothing, and a cooler to take your catch home.

Our Gulf Stream Charters are about 36 miles one way. We will run further if we have to. There is always something to catch here. February and March are good for catching Giant Bluefin Tuna. April, May, June can get see you fishing for Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, and Mahi-Mahi.
July and August are ideal to fill the ice-chest with a mix of various species.
September is usually the best month for White Marlin fishing. In October, the Yellowfin bite picks up.
