About the trip

This trip takes you fishing for Trophy Walleye nearshore or offshore depending where the fish are. It runs 6 hour or limit and is best suitable for one to three anglers, but you can add a person for addinal price. This is a great trip to spend the day on the water fishing for trophy walleye. You should bring foo, drinks, Ohio fishing license, rain gear, a jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap, a cooler with ice to take your fish home, as well as motion sickness medication. Fish cleaning is available.

Look - I'll make this short. When you limit out (plus a few surprises that were not walleye) and the fish are BIG (probably 5 that were over 6 maybe 7 pounds) because the captain decided to move to a new spot and take a chance - then you just have to be pleased with the experience. I know this can't happen every time - that's why it is called fishing and not catching. But my older son and I were able to have a trip we will remember all our lives. Awesome! Would highly recommend capt. Mike. Good equipment, good conversation and good fishing. Was willing to educate me on the tackle, techniques and use of electronics. Limited out no problem and continued to fish hoping for the big bite. I'll be fishing with him again!
