Montauk is home to many exciting species that dwell in both the inshore and the offshore areas. This great diversity isn’t the only thing going for Montauk, as the nature of the shoreline is resplendent. Crunch Time Sport Fishing will take you on a great adventure, that will leave you with pleasant memories for years to come!

Climb aboard their 48ft Rose Brothers Custom Sport Fishing Boat restored in 2013 - all the modern fishing amenities are available. She can carry up to 12 anglers fishing simultaneously, in comfort, with ample room to work. She is powered by a twin 375hp caterpillar engines. She’s fully equipped for serious fishing, A full-head toilet on board ensures comfort even on longer trips.

Join Captain TJ as you fish the inshore and offshore waters of Montauk. You can expect to go after Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke , Blackfish, Black Seabass, and others in the inshore areas. Offshore though, the adventure is afoot as you target Mako and Thresher Sharks, as well as Yellowfin Tuna and it’s prestigious cousin the Bluefin Tuna. Light and heavy tackle jigging, spinning and popping can be utilized, as well as trolling and bottom fishing.

A professional first mate is available on board to assist you in rigging your line and to clean and fillet your catch. Top-of-the-line equipment is available for use on Crunch Time Sport Fishing. Children are welcome onboard but the minimum age is 5. Fishing licenses are included. Customers are advised to bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, adequate clothing, and a waterproof camera.

This is a kid’s special fishing trip to introduce them to the wonderful sport of fishing. This is an inshore trip and will only sail in calm conditions. Specifically bottom fishing for Fluke, Seabass and Porgys . The captain and mate will teach your kids how to use their fishing rods, bait their own hooks and reel in their fish . 
Also teaching proper fish handling techniques and knowledge of the local fisheries. Our patience with chidren on board is second to none as told by our reviews!

Kids Summer Fishing Camp AM

Departure time is flexible and can be adjusted for tides.

This half day trip will be stalking the inshore waters of Montauk. The species targeted are varied, such as Striped Bass, Flounder, Black Seabass, and others. All required equipment is provided by the charter operator.

Half Day Trip (PM) - Inshore

Kids Summer Fishing Camp PM

This is a afternoon / twilight trip 
That can start at 3pm or later 
And has a 4 hour duration. We can target Stripers, Blues, Fluke Porgys or Black Sea Bass . All rods bait and tackle included. Trips can be timed for a perfect sunset return to the dock .

Late Afternoon/Twilight trip

This trip will let us target a desired tide and species with time to spare! We can bottom fish some of my favorite spots for Porgy, Seabass, Fluke, etc. either before or after we fish with live bait on the drift for trophy Striper!

3/4 Day Trip – Inshore Fishing (AM)

This trip is for extended afternoon fishing and can target multiple species in one outing. This is a 6-hour trip and it usually leaves the dock at 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.

3/4 Day Trip – Inshore Fishing (PM)

This Open Boat trip is for avid fluke enthusiasts who are searching for their personal best jumbo fluke. This trip includes the use of top-grade fluke rods, premium fresh bait, custom hand-tied rigs and jigs, and artificials such as Gulp, Zmann, etc. Anglers are also welcome of course to bring their own preferred rods.

8 Hour Trip – Montauk Jumbo Fluke

A full day trip in the bountiful inshore areas of Montauk is an excellent opportunity to get your fishing game on. The species targeted are varied and multiple ones can be targeted during the trip, such as Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Black Seabass, Porgy, and others. Trolling and drift fishing will be utilized on this trip.

Full Day Trip - Inshore

On this trip, we will be in search of different species of Shark – Thresher, Mako (catch and release), and others. We provide all the heavy duty gear, flats of premium baits, and chum. This is an 8-hour trip and usually leaves the dock at 6:00 a.m.
