If you have never been flounder gigging, bowfishing, or spearfishing before, the big question you need to ask yourself right now is, why not? These are incredible forms of fishing that will give every adrenaline junkie a rush. You can release your inner Robin Hood, Katniss Everdeen, or even Legolas, catching your own dinner, and having a great fishing adventure.

If you are going to give this a shot (pun intended) then you need to come down to Alabama and join Captain Ron Stone of Night Shift Charters. With nearly a decade of experience, he is the one who will teach you how to bowfish, spearfish, and flounder gig. You’ll leave after the trip a pro and with a huge love of this type of fishing.

You’ll spend the trip on board an Excel 20’ aluminum center console. This beautiful vessel is equipped with high pressure sodium light fixtures casting 60,000 lumens of light – this basically translates to you being able to see all of your prey, no matter what the time of day!

And what kind of trip would it be without some epic background beats? Plug in your iphone, ipod, or Android phone and play your favorite fishing playlist.

You’ll be able to target a range of species. On the menu are Flounder, Halibut, Sheepshead, Ray, Ladyfish, Pompano, Needlefish, Crab, and more. These delicious fish will keep you busy for the whole 4 hours. 

Regardless of the time of year, there will be a trip available for you. Even children are more than welcome on board – there is no age limit, as long as the parents are confident their kid will enjoy the trip, Capt. Eric will be happy to teach them all they need to know about Flounder gigging, bow fishing, and spearfishing.
