Your Fishing Charter

If you want a top fishing adventure that takes place on the plentiful waters of Riviera Beach, Florida, then look no further than Slob City Charters. The name speaks for itself—‘slob’ is tournament slang for a very, very big fish, and Captain Carl Torresson wants to help you reel in the catch of a lifetime!

Capt. Carl specializes in targeting top pelagic species, all the way from West Palm Beach to Fort Pierce. Always wanted to battle that Florida fighting machine, the Mahi Mahi? Opt for Capt. Carl’s full day trip, where you’ll head up to 30 miles offshore to target some big game fish. Want to reel in some Barracuda and Amberjack around the wrecks and reefs? Go for a half day trip and look out for King Mackerel and Wahoo, too.

No matter where you choose to go, you’ll be heading on your adventure in Capt. Carl’s spacious 33’ Conch commercial boat. She can comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers, as well as your captain, and is fitted out with all of the necessary safety and navigational gear. She’s powered by 3 350 HP Suzuki engines, so you’ll be on the fish in no time!

Capt. Carl believes that fishing should be open to everyone, and allows children of any age on his charter—if you think your little one is ready to start discovering their sea legs, then bring them along! Anyone is welcome aboard Slob City Charters, from brand new beginners to experienced anglers looking for a new adventure.

Capt. Carl provides live bait to all of his guests, as well as top-of-the-line equipment. This isn’t just limited to his Penn and Shimano rods and reels—he also specializes in using top-quality kite reels and electric downriggers to maximise the chance of reeling in your dream catch. Have a lucky rod you’d like to bring along? You’re more than welcome to do so, but make sure you limit it to one or two per group.
