Your Fishing Charter

Jig’n’Pig Fishing Guide specializes in targeting Catfish in the Sandusky Bay of Lake Erie. Captain Jeff Tipple has been running charters since 2008, putting customers on monster lake fish out of Port Clinton, Ohio. You’ll have the chance to catch lots of fish, bring home a meal for the family, and create lasting memories with one of the friendliest guides on the water!

Your voyage will take place on a 25’ Forest River pontoon, equipped with all state-of-the-art electronics and navigational equipment to put you in the right place at the right time. The boat accommodates up to 6 guests and everyone can fish at the same time. Capt. Jeff welcomes kids ages 6 and up and he provides life jackets and all the necessary safety gear for a secure and enjoyable ride.

Your main target species is Channel Catfish. Port Clinton and Sandusky Bay provide an ideal habitat for this species, giving you the opportunity to fight them to your heart's content. With top-notch equipment and fishfinding technology available on board, you'll be on fish in no time.

All of Capt. Jeff’s trips are light tackle. You’ll be using top-of-the-line Quantum rods and reels and they’re included in the price. You can choose to keep your catch and take it to the Base Edge to have it cleaned and filleted for a small fee. You can also choose to release your catch and help preserve the local environment. 

Just be sure to purchase a fishing license before your trip, bring a cooler for your snacks and drinks, and dress according to the weather. You may need a raincoat or some extra layers of clothing in case it gets windy.
