Your Fishing Charter

Lil Joe’s Guide Service specializes in family-friendly fishing trips along Aransas, Corpus Christi, and Redfish Bays. Captain Joe Wilson caters each of his trips based on his customers’ desires as well as their level of experience. He’s a former tournament angler, military veteran, family guy, and expert guide.

Capt. Joe invites you and your family to join him on his 22’ Trans Sport flats boat. His vessel is equipped with top-of-the-line navigational technology, fishfinding electronics, and tackle. The boat’s shallow draft provides the perfect experience for fishing flats and other low-water areas. You’ll be able to maneuver and switch locations with ease, based on where the fish are biting. She accommodates up to 4 guests, including children, and everyone can fish comfortably at the same time.

Your main targets for the day are Redfish, Black Drum, and Speckled Trout. The various bays and estuaries surrounding Corpus Christi are brimming with numerous inshore species, so you won’t only be limited to these 3 species. You may also encounter other fish, such as Jack Crevalle and even the occasional Blacktip Shark.

Capt. Joe will make sure you’re taken care of by providing you with state-of-the-art rods and reels, made by Penn and Falcon. Live bait and lures are also included.

All you have to bring with you is a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License, which you can purchase online, some snacks and drinks, and protection against the sun. Everything else will be taken care of so you can enjoy your trip with the family and catch delicious fish all day long.
