Captain Joe Wilson has been fishing since he learned how to walk. One day his dad put a rod and reel in his hand, and the rest is history! He’s been running charters out of Corpus Christi since 2009 and what he loves most about his job is meeting new people, teaching beginners how to fish, and putting smiles on customers’ faces. Before he began running charters, Capt. Joe was a competitive Bass circuit tournament angler. He’s also a military veteran and enjoys taking other former and current service members out on the water for a fun day of fishing. Great time with Captain Joe
Conditions were not great. Most other boats coming into wharf had zero fish, so our 2 catches made us a success. One was a nice red! Highly recommend Captain Joe.

Best Fishing Trip Ever!
We spent the morning with Captain Joe Wilson in Aransas Bay. Caught more than our share so threw some back, gave some away, and ate the rest for My husband’s 81st birthday. Trout & Redfish, plus hardhead catfish we threw back. We enjoyed seeing sunrise, dolphins, beautiful birds, and being on the water. Captain Joe is a fish finder extraordinaire. He cleaned & fileted for us. Would highly recommend & fish with Joe again. Thanks Captain Joe😎
