Your Fishing Charter

Fish the bountiful waters of the Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees and the Neosho River with Alexander Guide Service! Captain Wayne Alexander will go out of his way to make sure you have a fun day fishing for a variety of exciting freshwater fish. 

You’ll be casting off of a powerful 2019 28’ North River sport fishing vessel. This comfortable beauty can accommodate up to 5 anglers who can all fish at the same time. Thanks to her 300 HP Yamaha engine, you’ll cruise between the river and lake with ease. 

Fishing the Grand Lake gives you one of your best chances at catching Paddlefish. These ancient fish haven’t changed much in the last 75 million years and will test your angling skills as you battle to reel them in!

You need to release Paddlefish on Mondays and Fridays but Capt. Wayne is happy to clean and fillet your catch during the rest of the week. Aside from Paddlefish, you’ll also have the opportunity to target tasty Catfish, Crappie, and Hybrid Striped Bass. 

All the fishing gear you need for a productive day on the water will be waiting for you on board. You’ll want to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the day – and don’t forget to pick up a fishing license at the Grove Sports Centre. 

If you’re looking to extend your fishing trip, Capt. Wayne also offers his trailer for accommodation at an additional cost of $150 per day. Feel free to get in touch with him for more information. This 8-hour trip will have you cruising the Grand Lake and Neosho River in search of Paddlefish, Crappie, Catfish, and Hybrid Striped Bass! All your fishing gear will be provided, just bring snacks, drinks, and a valid fishing license. Anglers of all skill levels and families with children over 5 years of age are welcome!
