These waters are well-known fisheries and boast the title of the ‘Walleye Capital of the World’. So, if you’re looking to set the next record, join Capt. Moke on Strikemaster Charters. He welcomes both novice and seasoned anglers and children are most welcomed.

Captain Moke has been fishing the waters of Lake Erie for over 45 years and knows how to fill the livewell. Captain Moke is a retired  Firefighter/Paramedic veteran in the Cleveland area for 35 years, so safety is top priority. .He regularly competes in  fishing tournaments on Lake Erie. In 2017, Capt. Moke won the prestigious Cabela’s National Walleye Tour Tournament on Lake Erie and has numerous top 10 finishes along with Team of the Year on the LEWT walleye circuit in 2020. 

You will join Capt. Moke aboard his 21’ Warrior high performance tournament style fishing boat.. The boat was built in 2020 and features GPS, a fish finder, an ice box, live bait well, as well as a trolling motor for an additional boost. The boat is equipped with all the safety gear required.

Fishing with Strikemaster Charters will see you pursuing some impressive Walleye, Steelhead and Perch. The fishing for Walleye has been excellent for the last couple of years and we continue to have record hatches on Lake Erie.

The captain will supply all the fishing gear. He’s sponsored by Bay Rat lures, Gill Rainwear, Denali Rods, Worldwide Marine Insurance, and OFF Shore Products. Captain Moke is specialized in father-son trips and last minute trips. 

You need an Ohio fishing license if over 16 yrs. Bring your own food and drinks, Please note that no hard liquor is allowed, but beers in cans is fine. Bring rain gear, a jacket, a camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap, a cooler and ice to take your fish home, as well as motion sickness medication. Lets go fishing!

New to trolling or just want that edge to help put more fish in the boat? Then this is a perfect trip for "hands on", take notes and put all the pieces together about trolling. Capt. Moke will take the time to explain the "why's" of trolling. I also do this trip with Jigging the reef complex in the spring for the spunky males. This is a 2 person charter and is very relaxed so you get the most out of your trip. I get many requests for teaching charters throughout the year so I put together a learning trip.
