Your Fishing Charter

Explore the fish-rich waters around San Jose Del Cabo in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and have a great time fishing with Jaqueline Sportfishing! You and Captain Gonzalo Castillo will head out to the offshore waters and try to catch as much fish as you can, enjoying the beautiful nature at the same time. Come along and embark on a sea adventure!

You’ll fish from a 26’ Super Panga boat that can carry 3 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Yamaha engine, uses modern GPS and radar navigation technology, and is equipped with tuna tubes and a livewell. The boat also features an ice-box so you can store your fish and drinks.

The species you can target include Marlin, Tuna, Cubera Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Pacific Barracuda, Bonito, and more. Using light tackle, you can bottom fish, troll, and fly fish. If you wish, you can keep your catch and take it home.

Captain Gonzalo will supply you with all the fishing gear you’ll need for the trip. This covers you for the rods, reels, terminal, tackle, and lures, as well as for all fly fishing equipment. Before you depart, just make sure that you’ve packed your fishing licenses and the food and drinks of your choice.

95% of the time you'll fish with either dead or live bait with the boat stopped, engine off, or slow trolling around 3 miles per hour through the shallows of the fishing area. Depending on the season, the captain can offer you sport fishing for Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, and Wahoo, or bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack, in addition to being the only charter service in Puerto Los Cabos offering fly fishermen the chance to catch a teased Marlin or Roosterfish on the fly!
