Your Fishing Charter

Nothing compares to a relaxing lake fishing in Southeast Florida. To get your slice of paradise, take a trip with Bass Flats & Beyond. Join Capt. John on Lake Osborn or Lake Ida for a few hours and enjoy what these waters have to offer.

You will be spending your day out on Lake Osborne or Lake Ida battling huge Largemouth Bass. This area is known for having some of the greatest Bass fishing scene in the state, so it’s a perfect opportunity to polish your fishing technique. 

Hop aboard a 22’ Sterling boat that’s been newly built in 2020. She features the latest Garmin navigational electronics and she’s powered by a 250 HP Mercury engine. The boat has plenty of fishing space for 4 guests and also features a live bait tank, a cooler, and a fighting chair. 

Capt. John will supply you with a professional tournament equipment, including rods, reels, and lures. This equipment is great for light tackle fishing, but if you’re planning to catch fish on a fly, please bring your own. 

You only need to purchase your fishing license and prepare some snacks and drinks of your choice. Don’t forget your sun protection to avoid getting sunburned.

A little more time on the water means you can make more casts, giving you more chances to catch that big largemouth, peacock or clown knife. This is the most popular of all my trips that provide great fishing action, so don't hesitate to join.

6 Hour Trip - Multi Species

Spend the whole day targeting peacock, clown knifefish, snakehead and largemouth bass in Florida's top urban freshwater spots. Your fishing equipment is fully covered by the captain if you're using light tackle. If you're an avid fly fisherman, please bring your own equipment.

8 Hour Trip - Multi Species

Spend the morning on Lake Okeechobee targeting big trophy largemouth bass. Then break for lunch and head to Lake Osborne for an afternoon of  Peacock Bass, Snakehead and Clown Knife Fish fishing.
You only have one day to fish, this is the way to spend it! (Does not include transportation and consists of a 10 hour total day)
