Join Tara Anne Sport Fishing for an exclusive adventure and get ready to load the captain’s boat with lots of fish! Your guide for the day, Captain Joe Lyons, has been fishing the waters off the coast of Wildwood, NJ for over 45 years and guiding for 27 years. His charter service is designed for all types of anglers, from beginners to experts, and invites kids of all ages to join in on the fun.

Your vessel for the day is a 30’ Island Hopper pilothouse, powered by a 330 HP Cummins engine. She comes with all the necessary safety gear and top-of-the-line equipment and electronics to ensure a successful and safe ride. Inside, you’ll find a private toilet and a spacious seating area to relax. She also comes with a Bluetooth radio so you can listen to your favorite songs while you fish.

The Atlantic waters off the coast of Wildwood are filled with a wide variety of fish. Capt. Joe will take you trolling for species such as Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Bonito, and Striped Bass, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to bottom fish for Flounder, Triggerfish, Tautog, Black Drum, and Black Seabass. 

You’ll be provided with state-of-the-art Penn gear, as well as high-performance lures and live bait. Your fishing license is included as well, so just arrive 15 minutes early and everything else will be taken care of.

After your trip, the crew will also offer to clean and fillet your catch, so you can go home and enjoy a nice savory meal with the family. Everything is covered, so all you need to bring is snacks and drinks and any other personal items you may need for the ride.

The Fall season is a great time to go for Black Seabass, they are a fun spunky fish and to catch the larges ones you need to travel 30-40 miles off to fish on reefs and wreaks.  This is a seasonal fishery, each year the state of New Jersey sets the Spring and Fall season.

This is the perfect trip if you're looking to get out on the water for a few hours and still catch a large amount of fish. Travel time is anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour each way, so you'll spend about 2–3 full hours fishing. You'll be trolling for Blues, Spanish Mackerel, and Bonito or bottom fishing for Black Seabass and Flounder. Fishing gear and licenses are included. Arrive 15 minutes before departure and get ready for a fun adventure!

Half Day Trip (AM)

This is a great trip for the whole family, especially if you've got kids! You'll travel about 30 minutes to an hour to and from the fishing ground, which means you'll have 2–3 hours of fishing. You'll have the opportunity to troll for Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, and Bluefish or bottom fish for Black Seabass and Flounder. Rods, reels, tackle, and licenses are included. Just be sure to arrive 15 minutes before departure which is around 1-2 pm, depending on the morning trip.

Half Day Trip (PM)

This trip is ideal for those looking to do a combination of several different techniques. Travel time is 1 hour each way, so you'll have 4 hours of fishing, which is more than enough time to catch some delicious fish. Target species include Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Back Seabass, Striped Bass, Flounder, Triggerfish, and more. Rods, reels, bait, and licenses are included. Just come 15 minutes before departure and get ready to have the adventure of a lifetime!

3/4 Day Trip (AM)

During the spring season the delaware bay offers excellent fishing for Black drum as they migrate into the bay to spawn.  The Black Drum can be any where from 20-90lbs and put up a good fight.

Just arrive 15 minutes early, feel free to bring snacks and drinks, and get ready for an action-packed adventure off the coast of Wildwood!

Full Day Trip – Inshore

Join Tara Anne Sport Fishing for a full-day inshore fishing trip.  Your target species include Black Seabass, Flounder, Triggerfish, Tautog, Striped bass and more depending on the season.  Rods, Reels, and tackle are provided and your fishing license is covered by the boat.  Just bring your food and drinks for the day and get ready for an action-packed adventure off the coast of wildwood.

Full Day-Inshore

Spring Black Seabass are a fun spunky fish and to catch the large ones you need to travel 30-40 miles off to fish on reefs and wreaks. This is a seasonal fishery each year the state of New Jersey sets the Spring and Fall Season.

Deep Water Seabass (Spring)

The Spring time is an excellent time for Shark fishing off of Cape May the most common sharks to catch to keep and eat would be the Mako or Thresher.  We commonly will travel from 25-30 miles out to the fishing grounds.
