Your Fishing Charter

When visiting the quaint community of Lakeside Marblehead, OH, be sure to take some photos of the local lighthouse, and of course, use the opportunity to do some fishing on Lake Erie. Chelsea Charters will gladly provide you with fishing trips so you can spend a fun day on the water. Their captains are highly experienced and they’ll do their best to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with you.

A single fishing trip can take groups of 6 guests or less. You’ll be gliding on lake waters on board a 30’ Island Hopper offshore sportfishing model from 1986, which was refurbished in 2013. During your fishing adventure, you can listen to some tunes on the onboard multimedia system. The boat can reach a top speed of 28 knots with its single QSB engine.

Chelsea Charters specializes in fishing on Lake Erie. Although you could fish all year round, your biggest chances of getting your catch are during the summer months and early fall. You can go after Yellow Perch, and delicious Walleye and Smallmouth Bass. When it comes to fishing techniques you can practice light tackle, trolling, spinning, and jigging.

Anglers should acquire their Ohio fishing license before they come aboard. However, you don’t have to worry about the fishing gear and lures, as they will be waiting. For your greater comfort, there’s an onboard bathroom available. If you get lucky you can keep your catch.
