    Best First Fishing Trip on Lake Michigan

    5 Hour Trip - 4:00 PM • 4 adults • 1 child

    Captain Mike’s fishing charter was outstanding from start to finish. He was personable, easy to talk to, and gave clear instructions on what to expect and what to avoid. As beginners—especially fishing on a boat for the first time—we really appreciated his patience and guidance. The boat was a great fit for our family of four, with comfortable seating and partial cover, which would have been perfect if the weather turned. Captain Mike worked hard the entire trip to put us on fish, and it showed—we ended up catching seven, a mix of king salmon and trout, and are heading home with plenty to remember the experience. This was one of our most memorable family outings, and we’re already looking forward to booking again. We highly recommend Captain Mike’s charter to anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water.

    June fishing trip

    5 Hour Trip • 6 adults

    We caught salmon and trout. Captain Mike was very supportive when we were reeling in the fish. I felt that he did an awesome job with explaining how we should reel in our catch. I think that this excursion would be great for adults. A father's day, birthday, bachelor/Bachelorette party any festive party. For us the family went in on a Christmas present for my brother.

    5 Hour Trip - 4:00 PM • 5 adults

    Hello - I contacted Captain and let him know we were not experienced Fishermen and would need some help. Captain was super patient and helped us real in 8 King Salmon and 1 Rainbow Trout! This was an amazing trip we will never forget and look forward to doing again next year! We highly recommend Captain Mike and Fowl Dawgs! A huge shout out to First mate Sonny! Thank you.

    Great morning trip with fish success

    5 Hour Trip • 4 adults

    Captain Mike helped us catch 3 salmon, and 3 steel head fish. Already ate one of the filet that was cut for us, it was great. Enjoyed the sunrise, as well as Sonny our K9 entertainment while traveling and when action was slow. if in the area in the future, I would definitely use Fowl Dawgs again a chartered trip.

Chad and the “kids” had a blast reeling in these whoppers! “The fish are hungry tonight!” Was heard several times. When the sun eventually decided to give up sky to dusk, catching 4 of our 9 in 30 minutes.

Had a great sunset pm trip wuth Jerry and Ollie. They are begging to come back, AFTER they get some rest and let their arms recover. We wore em out. They both got to reel in some great fish and were excited to try it for dinner. Jerry (9 yo) said he was surprised and happy about how safe he felt on the boat!
