- Background
- For as long as I can remember, I've been addicted to fishing. I moved to Northern Wisconsin with my family when I was in high school, just to be closer to the lakes in Northern Wisconsin. I've spent the last 20 years learning lakes, patterns, and presentations in Lincoln, Vilas, and Oneida counties. I have a solid work ethic and take pride in pushing myself daily to learn and grow. I love to teach, love to smile, and love to have fun! I promise a day on the water will be fun, educational, and full of laughs.
- Techniques
- Currently, trips will begin in April and run through October. Trips in April, May, and June will be primarily focused around flowages and river fishing. Walleyes, panfish, and northern pike will be the primary guided species. Fishing tactics will mostly be jigging and casting slip-bobbers this time of the year. Once water temps warm up, fish on clear water lakes become my primary focus and this usually happens around mid June to early July. Walleyes become the primary targeted species on these body's of water and can be caught using aggressive jigging tactics as well as casting slip bobbers. Last year was the first year with mega live and it quickly became the most powerful tool in my boat for catching fish. Bouncing from spot to spot picking off active fish is an amazing pattern and super addictive! Trolling has its time and place this time of the year and can’t be overlooked.
