    Captain Ron and a rock in roll fishing experience!

    3 Hour Trip (PM) • 6 adults

    We showed up and asked the Captain where his eye patch was ( reference Kurt Russel in movie “Captain Ron” movie). He didnt have a eye patch but, like the movie, the trip was a success because of Captain Ron! The boat launched to alternative rock music that matched the mood of the bay. Waves crashed with the beat of the drums. Ron caught bait as dolphins chased mullet and minhaden in the background. Ron was a force of nature that seemed to be a part of the world we inteuded upon. “Violent Femmes” rocked the crew as the boat settled into our first spot. We were not disapointed! Red Fish, Speckaled Trout, Drum, and a few fish we didnt want kept Captain Ron busy with filling thevice chest and replacing bait lost in the battle. Ron has an innate ability to always know when someone needed help or encouragement. Day ended with Tyler Childress, Doobie Brothers, and Luke Combs with plenty of fish! Well done Ron!

    Above and Beyond- Will charter again!

    4 Hour Trip (AM) • 2 adults

    Capt Ron was a great guide! Started out catching live bait for the morning. Then, we went to a spot and caught our limit of speckled trout in short order. Then l, we went to another spot and caught our limit of Red Snapper and a couple of Spanish Mackerel. It was my wife's birthday today, and she had a fantastic time! You can't really put a price on the great pics and memories frm the trip. Highly recommend Capt Ron!

    Captain Ronnie Rocks!!

    4 Hour Red Snapper Trip PM • 4 adults

    Booked our trip a week prior to visiting Gulf Shores, and Ronnie semed a perfet fit and did not disappoint. Took my Mom(67) wife and I(40s) and our daughter(15) on a four hour snaper P.M. trip this past Thursday and had a blast! Thirty minutes and we were hookin lips, and despite Dad getting sea sick awesome awesome trip. Ronnie felt an Uncle or someone we alreay knew, you would be very pleased with your trip for sure. Strongly recommend!!

    3 Hour Trip • 2 adults • 1 child

    Took my 10yo son on his first trip to catch bigger fish. Ronnie did exactly what his video said and called me the day before to make sure the trip was tailored to our goals and didnt disappoint. He had some flexibility in his schedule and suggested we go out at a different time when it would be calmer based on weather forecast which we really appreciated. We started off catching sheepshead and once we had enough for the frying pan he took us to catch and release red snappers which were easier and more fun and the we had had enough of that we caught some spanish marlins. He was very friendly and entertaining to chat with as well! thanks again Ronnie!

    Our First Charter Fishing Experience!

    2 Hour Introduction to Fishing • 2 adults

    This was our first time charter fishing and it was such a great time! Captain Ronnie was amazing! we booked a 2 hour since it was out first time, but we will definitely be back and book a longer trip. We highly recommend Another Fish Charters! We cant wait to go back!

Inshore Fishing for Speckled Trout

The speckled trout have made their way into the bay and are here in large numbers. These fish can be caught in very calm water, so it makes for a great trip for those that get sea sick or dont like a long boat ride to the fish. We catch these fish on light tackle in shallow water using live bait. A great trip for beginners or seasoned anglers.

Summer Time Weather

With the summer time weather pattern setting in early this year, avoiding storms has proven more difficult than catching the fish. The speckled trout bite has been great, and not having to travel very far to get them. Most of these fish are caught in sight of the marina. The bite is really heating up, and days are booking fast, so get in on this action while they are here and hungry!
