  My 11 yesr old son is an avid fresh water fisher, he learned on our charter that the methods are vastly different when bottom fishing in salt water than when bass fishing! Captain Cody was patient with him and very willing to engage with him to teach him good technique. Because of this my son was proud to bring home some black drum and Croaker that he caught to feed the family. We highly recommend this charter if you want to learn how to bottom fish especially if you have kids eager to learn. My son said he wishes he could give it 6 Stars! Thanks again Captain Cody! We will be back!

  11:15AM Mid Day Trip - Inshore/ICW on July 21, 2026 • 2 adults

  knowing it was a late summer trip we decided to go anyway. couldn’t have made a better choice. Captain who knows where the fish are and keeps you there is what makes him a captain that stands out against the rest. We went straight to the fish. No fish thirty minutes and move two or three times waiting time. Nope straight to business. i would highly suggest this caltain if you dont want a bunch of BS. and just want to fish. Thanks Cody for a great and memorable fishing experience

  Captain Cody was super knowledgable and highly experienced! He got us ontop of a school and we pulled out about 20-25 fish! not many keepers but we usually return anyway! Then my son hooked a Blue! My other son is 9 and his whole goal was to catch a shark.. all the other boats on the water were complaining that they couldnt find any so we didnt have much hope but nope, captain Cody knew exactly what to do, we moved…. stoped threw out and bam!!!! We had four good bites, we lost two because of us and trying to get little man to reel but we got two in the boat. It was such a cool experience and the whole family had a great time. My 9 year old asks alot if questions and Captain Cody didnt hesitate to answer any of them! It may not be the prettiest or biggest boat but its perfect for a nice day on the water with your family!!! 10 out of 10 would reccomend!!! He was all about givingvthe experience we were looking for!

  A great evening on the water away from the Hustle & Bustle!! Captain Cody & Oliver were a hoot!! Both were very knowledgeable and they put us on some fish!! A vet very enjoyable evening for my wife, son his friend and myself. if you’re on the fence about booking with Captain Cody, just do it, you’ll enjoy it!! Also, the Pizza Joint, Pizelli’s, you recommended … Primo!!

  Good Trip

  April/May Half Day ICW Inshore - 7:00 AM on September 6, 2026 • 5 adults

  Good trip overall with Captain Cody, although a few points. It was advertised on the web site that there would be life jackets provided, but he did not ask us this at the beginning of the trip. It was also advertised on the web site that there was a toilet on the boat, which there was not one and two members of our group had to take a number two so the trip was actually cut short by about 45 minutes. Regarding the actual fishing, there was a time for about 20-25 minutes where he was fishing for a flounder at the inlet and we were not able to fish alongside him, it was solely him. The total actual amount of fishing time for a 4 hour trip was about 1 hour and 45 minutes when accounting for initial trip delay, navigating to the fishing spots, and the shortened length of the trip.
