Scince the first time I came fishing down here to south texas I knew I wanted to put people on the best fishing experience possible by either catching fish or gigging fish. What drives me is actually the love for the water and meeting new people..

    Great trip with my boys

    Jetty trip • 3 adults • 1 child

    Johnny was friendly, knowledgeable and put is on some hot spots with fish ( even tbough the conditions werent great with choppy water, etc.) Great Sunday fishing with my sons and hopefully we can do it again soon!

    Great trip!

    Half Day Trip (AM) • 6 adults

    Considering the weather conditions, we had a great time! wWe didn’t get to go where Captain Johnny wanted to take us , but he did put us on some fish! I’m glad we had Captain Johnny at the helm! Definitely want to book again, with better weather conditions!!

    We booked a last minute bay fishing half day. Captain Johnny was great and the kids (4 14 year olds and a 12 year old) had a great time. Highly recommend, especially for families. would book a trip again with Captain Johnny.

    fantastic day with trout limit and lots of time to spare. Captain Johnny is very friendly and puts you on the fish! We caught nearly all keepers all the way up to a 26”

What's biting with Catching ForReel Guide Services in Port Aransas

Bay fishing is excellent, with large numbers of Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Flounder. Flounder can only be caught with hook and line this month. Offshore, people are catching Kingfish, Tuna, and the occasional Wahoo.
