Joe was very knowledgable of the area, very professional and so personalable and attentive to my needs.  He had 6 rods rigged and ready to go for me so that I was never without a rod in my hand.  My goal was to learn to fish with artificial bait for Sea Trout, Red Fish and Snook in the mangrove islands east of Goodland.  At one point, I hooked a fish on every cast catching over 25 Sea Trout.  Joe taught me several ways to present the different types of artificial bait with different rod action techniques.  What a great teacher and coach.  The day was so great that I want to bring my adult son back to go out again with Joe so he can have a similar experience.  Joe even fileted three trout for me that I took to a local restaurant in Marco to prepare for us.  Best tasting fish ever.  Thanks again for a great experience!

This past weekend we had an amazing fishing day with Captain Joe at Flamingo, Everglades, and can’t say enough good things about the experience. 

From the moment we parked, Captain Joe made us feel welcome and excited for the day ahead.  The route he took to our first stop was beautiful as we watched the sunrise.  His knowledge of the local waters and good areas to catch was impressive, and he shared artificial bait tips and techniques. My son enjoyed using the lures that Captain Joe taught him to use and he pulled many fish that day. 

His boat was spacious, clean and well equipped making it comfortable for our group of three. He provided all the gear we needed so we could focus on fishing and having fun. He also took pictures of us throughout the day so that we can keep these wonderful memories. 

Thanks to Joe’s expertise, we caught 6 different fish species that day.  He was patient and attentive, ensuring that everyone had a chance to reel in a fish, including my guest who had never caught fish before. 

Overall, I highly recommend Mojoe Xpeditions for anyone looking for an awesome fishing day at Flamingo.  My son and I are ready to plan another trip.  :)

Captain Joe is a stand up gentleman.
He was so helpful and taught my son and I a great deal even though we have both been longtime anglers. Though the bite was slow at times Joe knew what to do to make things happen. This was my first time booking with a guide but if I ever get back here, he will be my go to guide. I highly recommend using Captain Joe to anyone.

Captain Joe was awesome. Everything went very smoothly. We caught lots of fish. Joe was also aware that I wanted to take advantage of photography opportunities, and went out of his way to ensure I got some great shots.
