When he finally settled in San Diego, he knew he was home. With a deep fascination for the local fishery and proximity to Mexico, Chris spent years refining his techniques and studying migratory fish patterns, working alongside some of the best captains in Southern California. He firmly believes that great captains do their homework—understanding the water, the fish, and the ever-changing conditions that make every day on the water different.
