Captain Alan Clowers was only 5 years old when he started fishing the bays and local lakes of San Diego, heading out with his dad and brothers. He has been fishing ever since and now knows these waters extremely well. He has entered various competitions over the years, and has achieved over 10 first place finishes and 8 Big Fish awards. He was named Angler of the Year in the Southland Bass Club, and has also placed in the top 5 on more than 20 occasions - not a bad record in San Diego, which is not short on competition! Capt. Clowers enjoys teaching kids and beginners, as well as with expert anglers, how to find fish in this area, and is able to customize each trip to suit your needs. A trip with Capt. Clowers will not only be a fun day on the water, but an experience of a lifetime!

Full Day Trip • 5 adultsThanks again to the Captain and his deckhand Matt! My kids and I got everything and more than we hoped for on the trip. Immediately on the fish and nonstop action throughout the day. Plenty of Bonito all amd some whoppers in the afternoon. and a huge Yellowtail to finish off the day. a beautiful day out on the water. Thank again we’ll be back!

Half Day Trip — Bay Fishing • 4 adults • 2 childrenChartered a back bay trip with my wife and two young boys, Capt. Alan and mate Matt were great with the boys showing them around the boat and of course catching fish. We brought a few home for dinner with plenty of others we threw back! Boat was well maitained and would absolutely recommend!

Took Robert and his crew out on full day today .. the just wanted to have fun and catch some fish … so we decided on coronado islands … we ended up with 5 nice grade yellowtail 1 blufin tuna , 50 log baracuda , 30 calico bass and 4 sheeo head … it was a epic trip today with no high expetations … the fish gods provided …. Dont wait if your thinking about a trip … its full summer time fishing . Islands , offshore .

Fishing is as good as it gets right now !!there are lots of dorado , yellowfin Blufin and yellowtail around right now …. We have had great weather along with some epic charters with limits of dorado and lots of tuna …,this is the best time to go as the ocean in our zone is very fertile … we have been catching them on a variety of ways … kelp paddy , trolling , open water fish … fly lined sardeans … on kelps along with a jig stop .., it’s pretty amazing fishing right now …. Don’t wate as it’s here now .
