So I started fishing the gulf waters when I was just a child! We didn't have alot of money growing up but when we would go to the beach as a child my mom would always give me the option to either get a burger or bait! Needless to say I always chose to get the bait! That led me to start working on charter fishing boats in Pensacola Fl. then onto private boats for a few years. I stepped away from charter fishing for a few years and ran parasail boats but my love for fishing never stopped! I still fished every time I had the opportunity too. I found my way back to fishing full time almost 10 years ago and have never regretted or looked back! Currently I've been the captain of fishing charters that have set 4 Alabama state records and 1 world record! Although they may not be of the most common kind of fish, that are caught day in and day out, a record is still a record and I'm sure proud to have given someone who doesn't fish for a living the opportunity to put their name in the record books!

6 Hour – Family Fun Trip - 2:00 PM • 6 adultsOur family had a great time on a 6-hour trip. Capt. Seth is highly experienced / knowledgeable about all aspects of finding and catching fish. He put us on some fantastic Red Snapper right away. When we hit the limit on Snapper, we started trolling and caught a bunch of Mackrell. My boys absolutely loved it. The boat is very comfortable as well. The air-conditioned cabin was a nice respite from the late August sun. The cabin has comfortable seating as well as a restroom. Our deck hand (Paul) kept us baited up and in business with no down time and when we got back to the Marina, he fileted the catch and handed us a bunch of zip-lock bags with fresh fish fillets. Highly recommended.

8 Hour – Bottom Fishing Trip • 6 adultsI have been on several fishing charters and this one, by far, was the best quality fishing experience that I have been on. The Captain put on on fish and ended up catching the 2nd biggest Red Snapper of my group. My friend eneded up with the biggest Red napper that I have ever seen. The Captain and deck hand were very personable and it seemed like we had known each other all of our lives. The boat was clean and had AC so we stayed cool in-between stops. I would really recommend this charter. I take a fishing trip ever year and if I go back to Gulf Shores, I’m definitely booking with this Captain again.

4 Hr 'Let's Just Go Fishing' Trip • 5 adultsOur fishing trip aboard the Nauti-Nurse with Captain Seth and Spencer was absolutely incredible! From the moment we left the dock, they made us feel welcome and took excellent care of our entire group. We caught over 100 pounds of fish, including an amazing 30-pound snapper—a catch we’ll be talking about for years! Captain Seth and Spencer were patient, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They were always willing to help, answer questions, and made sure everyone had a great time. One thing that meant a lot to us was how well they looked after my grandparents. They made sure they were comfortable throughout the trip, which really showed how much they care about their guests. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and full of great energy. This was more than just a fishing trip—it was an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to celebrate my grandmother’s and my birthday. We’re already planning our next trip with Captain Seth and Spencer on the Nauti-Nurse. If you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water with an outstanding captain and crew, I can’t recommend them enough. This is a trip I’ll remember forever!

4 Hr 'Let's Just Go Fishing' Trip • 6 adults • 2 childrenWe had an excellent fishing trip for my birthday! It was the first time deep sea fishing for our 4 kids ranging from 6 to 21 as well as my husband and me. The crew made the experience unforgettable. They were patient, professional, and incredibly helpful the entire time. They took the time to teach us what to do, made sure everyone had a chance to catch fish, and kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed. We never felt rushed, and they were especially patient with all of us, especially the little ones. To top it off, they even helped put some fish in the cooler for us. We also saw a few dolphins on the trip. Highly recommend this crew for anyone looking for a great fishing experience! we will certainly be back.

14 Hour – Deep Drop Trip • 6 adults • 3 children14hr deep sea trip with Captain Seth and Spencer. The captain called me the morning of our charter to warn us of rough conditions and offered to move it. Our group decided to go out, and even with rough water we had a blast. Spencer was an incredible deckhand. He kept our lines in the water, and he was great with the kids. Both men were very professional and it was greatly appreciated!

The skies were grey but the seas were calling! With rain in the forecast we knew we had a short window to get offshore and put in some work to get it done before the raindrops started! We decided on a wreck closer in to shorten up the drive time! After a 14 mile run offshore the 1st spot we tried didn't give us great results so we picked up and ran a mile or so to the next hole! It was apparent this spot was gonna be stingy giving up keepers as well! Even though the fish were biting and the fish-on yells were constant we decided to move to the next spot! As we pulled up, the MFD screen exploded with life and I knew this was gonna be the honey hole we needed! Send them down to 70ft and get ready to fight guys was all we could get out before the absolute fish feeding frenzie took place! Every drop resulted in a keeper mingo or triggerfish! Sometimes 2 if not 3 at a time! The release of soon to be legal Red Snapper(season is currently closed)was intense as well! When all the foam vanished and the blood and scales were rinsed from the deck, we high fived and looked at our catch of amazing Vermillions, grunts, and triggerfish and knew we were blessed with an amazing catch! We decided it was time to head north and try to outrun the rain! As we apporoched the marina, we watch the rain clouds gather and take aim, but the clouds were to slow as we pulled in and tied off just as the sprinkles started! Once all the days catch was offloaded, we headed down to the covered cleaning table where the fish were cleaned with expert care and then fully bagged and iced down for the journey home to Kentucky!

Springtime Smackdown!

These are from our 1/2 day(6hr) trips! We've been able to dial in the mingos and triggerfish and have had an absolute blast doing it. With being able to locate them a little closer offshore, we're not having to run as long which has increased fishing times giving us great catches to bring home!

6hr Trip for the Books

We left out at 7am and by 8:30 we had made it to the fishing grounds! Once we said go-ahead it was nonstop action! We pulled up Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Grunts and even watched a dolphin swim around the boat helping us fish! Seas we're a touch sporty but nothing we couldn't handle and the fishing was amazing!

The weather was great and the seas were fantastic! Seas were around 1ft and the Vermillion Snapper were on fire! With an average weight of 3lbs each it was an absolute blast catching these fish on the light action tackle! Vermillion Snapper are a white flaky (with a hint of sweet) meat that leaves you wanting more! Red Snapper were were biting extremely well and the Grey Triggerfish bite is making us excited for the season to open March 1st!

Well, the seas were kicked up a little bit with the East wind that's blown in, but it's also helping keep the temps down a touch! The bite was red hot, and there were limits of fish being caught everywhere! Also, while some find riding around on a bean bag fun, while going 70mph, there's something to be said about a nice comfy, air-conditioned salon to hang out in!

The rain has subsided, and the seas are calm! Heck, even the temps are down a touch! The Red Snapper bite is still on fire, and some very nice Triggerfish and Vermillion Snapper are coming over the sides as well! Don't miss out on this weeks bite and absolutely gorgeous weather!
