My passion for fishing started almost before I could walk. I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, so my first love was freshwater fishing. After my grandparents moved down south, I got a taste of saltwater fishing and fell in love with it. After graduating from Ohio University, I moved down to St. Petersburg, FL, to chase my dream. I got the opportunity to first mate for some awesome captains while down here. They passed their knowledge on to me, and I knew I was ready to make the step of running my own boat.

    Knowledgeable and Friendly Guide

    2 Hour Trip (PM) • 2 adults

    We went inland fishing with Christian for a couple of hours and it was a lot of fun for me and my son. Neither of us had done saltwater fishing before, and Christian was great with the bait, casting, and picking a few good spots where we caught a bunch of fish. We got the hang of it and he helped us get out of some snags. It was an overall great experience.

    Brothers fishing

    2 Hour Trip (PM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    My brother and his son were visiting us from California. They had a great time fishing with Captain Christian. We had a 2 hour trip and caught plenty of fish. I would book another trip with Captain Christian in the future and recommend others to book a fishing trip with Christian as well.

    If you're looking to catch fish with a captain that knows what he's doing, this is the charter you want. Captain Christian was knowledgeable, personable, professional, and put us on fish the entire trip. We caught more fish than we knew what to do with. Would book with him anytime.

    Half Day Trip • 5 adults

    Christian was awesome. We had 4 people on the boat and Christian did not stop moving. He made sure everyone had fresh bait on the line and was casting for the ladies. We cought fish all morning.

What's biting with C'est La Vie Fishing Charters in St. Petersburg

Tarpon season winds down, although you can still catch them over rocky bottoms. They love the Stone Crab season because they can eat like kings that they are. Just watch out for the crab lines once you're hooked!
