We had an amazing experience on our fishing trip with Chris! The morning started with rain and thunder, but Chris stayed on top of the weather, kept us informed, and made the smart call to delay our start slightly for everyone’s safety and comfort.

Once we were out on the water, Chris really went above and beyond. He shared interesting facts and history about the shoreline areas we passed, which added a lot to the trip. His knowledge of the local fish was impressive—he could identify everything we caught and had tips for handling each species.

For those who needed it, he baited hooks and removed fish, making it easy and stress-free. He also moved us around to different spots throughout the day to ensure we got the best action—and it paid off! We caught around 70 fish of all different types.

To top it all off, Chris cleaned and filleted the fish for us to take home, which was a huge bonus. It was clear he truly cared about making the day successful and enjoyable for everyone.

I was beyond impressed by the beautiful trip Captain Chris adventured my boys and I on. We were all able to catch the fish we targeted without the wait. Captain Chris was very patient with my boys and treated us all fairly with great personality. I can now enjoy a fish fry with the excited memory of how they were caught. I will definitely be coming back to sail out again with this business for another fascinating fishing trip.

Great all around found. Started off with double rig to catch our bait. That was the easy part. Even though his fish finder was putting us right over where the larger fish were, they would bite but we could not set the hook. Had many a good hit but we were unable to bring one in except when Chris landed into a jovial but I was unable to keep it taught he the fish spit the hook

We did the 2hr Marsh trip to make sure we got some fish to the boat and Captain Chris helped us do just that. We had 5 people in our group including 2 kids and the captain was very helpful and knowledgeable about any question we had for him. All around stand up guy, would definitely book with Triple OT Charters anytime!

I took my two boys, ages 8 and 11 on a trip. Captain Woody was very professional and extremely nice towards us.  He answered all of their questions, and there were a lot! He explained to us how the bottom of the bay changes, and he even let them drive the boat (with supervision).  We caught more fish than we could count, and got the boys their Junior Angler Award.  He made us feel like we weren’t fishing on a charter but fishing with an old friend. I would recommend Captain Woody for your fishing charter and plan to book with again next time I find myself in the Williamsburg area.
