Took a trip with Stray Cat Charters recently with my son Johel, my nephew Henry, and my wife. Even though we didn’t land anything huge, we had an absolute blast pulling up seabass one after another—it was non-stop action! Captain Mike and the crew were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great time from start to finish.

Special shoutout to the first mate, Austin—he was awesome. Super helpful with baiting hooks, untangling lines, answering all of my ridiculous questions, and keeping the energy high all day. He was especially great with the kids and kept the whole experience running smoothly.

My wife got a little seasick partway through the trip, but the crew checked in on her often and helped her feel comfortable while the rest of us kept fishing. They were really attentive and professional across the board.

The boat was clean, well-equipped, and spacious enough for everyone to move around comfortably. You can tell these guys know what they’re doing and genuinely care about giving you a great experience.

Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a relaxing, fish-filled day out on the Jersey coast. We’ll definitely be back for another round!
