We had a group of 6 guys that are avid fishermen booked with Steve. He had us catching Salmon and trout shortly after departure.  We caught 10 total, so we all had multiple turns reeling them in. We probably lost 7 or 8 where the hooks came out before we were able to bring them in.  Overall a great morning of fishing 🎣

Beautiful day, but perhaps a bit too still and change in weather had the salmon showing up in 2 key horizons, but not biting (none of other boats Steve contacted were catching “silver fish” either by he way). He worked hard to adjust and put us on the fish that would bite, some good size lakers and the largest rainbow I’ve ever caught were boated. Another 3 or 4 thru the lures at the surface and didn’t make the boat, including 1 King and another large rainbow. Steve was eager to share his thought process and knowledge which was great for my son and I who are experienced and especially cool for our guests that were first timers. He even stayed out longer than the trip was supposed to be to make sure we were happy and boated some decent fish. I had a strong sense that he would have kept going a bit more, but the new folks were tiring quickly and ready for shore!  All in all a great time was had thanks to Captain Steve and we will surely be back fishing with him again. Also want to follow up on his recommendation for a musky trip with folks he knows well for a new adventure! Thanks for a great day on the lake captain Steve!

3 couples went after Coho on May 20th. Nice day, great captain and his new boat has plenty of room. Everyone got to catch some fish. Fish were biting slow but Captain Steve did a great job finding us fish. We all enjoyed the trip and would recommend Hunter Charter to anyone who likes to catch fish and have fun doing it. Thanks again Captain Steve. Will book again.

A group of friends and I did the half day trip in the morning with Captain Steve. We had an amazing time and caught some good fish. Captain answered all the questions we had about fishing, the lake, the boat, and anything in between. All the equipment was ready to go and he tried his hardest to get us on some more fish. At the end of the day we had a good haul and were able to feed the whole crew with plenty leftover to freeze. In the meantime Steve was great to talk to and had lots of great stories.
