    Great Day Out on The Water u

    Half Day Trip • 4 adults

    We went out the Sunday after the Black and Blue Bissee. Tough conditions out there. Captain Ceaser did a great job putting us in the best position to catch fish. Eferon our 1st Mate was fantastic and hustled the entire trip. The entire both the Ceaser and Eferon may a concerted effort to continually switch up the baits in order to catch some fish.  I would recommend Fish Tales to anyone considering chartering a fishing boat in Cabo while they are here

    Great Crew, great trip

    Half Day Trip • 4 adults

    Caesar is an excellent captain that knows his business and tries super hard to put you on fish. The boat is in good shape with excellent gear (Rapala rods and what looked like new Avet reels), and handles rough waves well (we put it to the test going out while Hurricane Genevieve cranked up some nasty swells just off the coast). They got out to the fishing grounds quickly and worked hard to find us fish. After a couple of hours we hooked into a nice size sailfish and got it in the boat. Another hour later we had another strong bite but no hook up. By this time we were already over our half day time by an hour, but they were determined to get us another fish and only called it a day when we asked them to on account of my son being very seasick by that point (He said it was worth it and he'd do it again ten times over). I'd highly recommend them and will book with them again the next time I go to Cabo. 5 stars and a great price to boot.

    Awesome time on Fish Tales!

    First time fishing in Cabo and it didn’t disappoint. Crew and boat were both great. Communication was the best and everything was laid out smoothly and easily. Woukd book with them again.

    A bit disappointed

    Half Day Trip • 2 adults

    I messaged back and forth with Ricardo. I told him I didn’t want to troll the whole time if it was slow and would like to do some casting and jigging to try other methods to get on the fish. Trolling endlessly with no action is brutally boring. We got to the boat and had Ceasar as our captain, and I told him the same thing and he said ok. We then trolled the whole time and didn’t get a bite. They only changed the lures once, so they didn’t put in much effort to try and get us a fish. Disappointed.

    Very good crew, boat, gear. Fishing knowledge, attempted to get on fish. Fishing slow but they managed to get us 3 nice sized Dorado/Mahi.

    I made sure to contact Ricardo weeks before our trip to let him know we wanted to target rooster fish and go bottom fishing. Once we got to the boat we found out Ricardo was not going out with us, instead Ceasar would be our captain. We quickly realize that Ricardo had not communicated with Ceasar our plans. We did end up catching 4 rooster fish, a marlin and a mahi before 8 am. All was going well until I brought up we wanted to go bottom fishing. Ceasar was not happy and at first did not want to do it. After some word exchange, he begrudgingly took us bottom fishing. Then it got worse from there. He yanked the fishing pole off my 17 year old daughter’s hands saying she was not strong enough for this type of fishing. My daughter had fished around the world with me. The 20 inch blueline tilefish we were catching were a joke compared to what she has landed before. The captain was just plain rude. Such a shame because the start of the trip was epic. If you book with them, make sure Ricardo, the captain and everyone knows what u want to target before u leave. And if you have daughters or children, beware, Ceasar might not be the best accommodating captain.
