  6 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing on September 12, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 child

  Booked this for my husbands birthday, and he LOVED it! They caught a 5’ King Mackeral, Red Snapper (which was out of season so it had to be released) and a bunch of others! we are currently smoking the mackeral and making a fish dip recommended by Captain Dan! it was a great trip and so many memories and pictures. thank you!!

  It was a pleasure having birthday boy Scott, his son Jackson for his first offshore trip at 8 years old, his dad Paul and friend Chris on board the Meat Wagon. That smoker king gave us a run on the Penn spinner with Scott doing a great job besting that trophy fish.

  captain Dan really knows his stuff. he asked us what we hoped to catch, days ahead of the trip, and really set up the charter around our wishes. most importantly, he put us on the fish and we had an incredible day!

  Stu, his son and friends were a pleasure to have on board and watch them get excited about every catch. We definitely bent the rods and tested the tackle having luck on the troll in the morning and bottom fishing the afternoon.

  Full day trip with capt Dan

  10 Hour Trip – Troll/Bottom Fish on August 12, 2023 • 3 adults

  Aside from the heat, awesome trip. Capt, had a canopy set up ok the front of the boat to get outta the sun which was huge for this Minnesotan! We got out on the troll first. Missed a half dozen as the sail fish brutalized our baits. Bottom fishing was good as the capt put us on the fish everytime until the sharks started claiming our prize. Then we'd move on to another spot. Friendly, educational. Capt Dan and his mate Dave put together awesome trip for us.. They'll be our team when we return in Nov!

  Great to have Tim, his son Jake and nephew Wyatt on board for their first trip to Florida. Jake caught a solid 40-pound kingfish on a spinning reel and Wyatt tore up the bottom fish including cobia and snapper. The record heat didn’t deter the young bucks from fishing hard and keeping us busy. Look forward to having them back on the Meat Wagon this fall.

  Full Day with Captain Daniel Jacobs

  10 Hour Trip – Offshore Bottom Fish on July 15, 2023

  Dan is the man! Would highly recommend a trip with this captain whether you are a serious angler or just learning. He put us on the bite first line in the water and made sure we got our bag limit. Along with being a highly experienced angler and great teacher, he was a top-notch host and shared a lot of industry knowledge. His boat was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of shade. All the equipment was in great shape and he made sure we had plenty of bait.

  It was great to have Will from Tampa and Rick from Orlando fish our two day snapper season and get to experience the incredible weather and bite we had this year. Time for some fish tacos!

  Red snapper day trip with captain Dan

  Captain Dan took me and my buddy out to his best red snapper spot and it didn’t disappoint! Captain Dan is very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend his experience to first timers because he will not hesitate to show you the ropes or teach you anything! A great experience I’m looking forward to booking again soon!!
