Alberto was a super nice captain and very informative about where we were fishing and types of fish we were looking to catch. He was very patient and helpful with my wife who never fishes. We caught several Sea Bass and Sand Bass. She landed the first catch of the day! Beautiful views of downtown San Diego. Great afternoon and Jax is the best first mate.

Al couldn’t have been a more considerate captain. I really needed my 8 year old to get a win after several unsuccessful attempts. He really delivered under less than optimal conditions. He was very communicative and we all had a great time and picked up some new techniques. His boat is in great shape and his 2nd mate is very friendly. I can highly recommend the 4 hour bay trip for anyone with kids looking to get some fundamentals.

We had a great day fishing with Al and Jax!  Al did a great job getting us on the fish while being very realistic about our expectations.  We caught a lot of fish and rarely went more than a few minutes without a bite.  This is a highly recommended fishing trip in the San Diego Bay area.  We stayed in the harbor which made for calm waters and an enjoyable experience.  Thanks!
