Al couldn’t have been a more considerate captain. I really needed my 8 year old to get a win after several unsuccessful attempts. He really delivered under less than optimal conditions. He was very communicative and we all had a great time and picked up some new techniques. His boat is in great shape and his 2nd mate is very friendly. I can highly recommend the 4 hour bay trip for anyone with kids looking to get some fundamentals.

Took my teenage son and we had a great time and caught a lot of fish. I wish we could’ve caught a bigger variety of fish but that was my fault in timing of the trip due to fish migration. Captain Al was incredible, very helpful, patient and kind. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great day fishing with Al and Jax!  Al did a great job getting us on the fish while being very realistic about our expectations.  We caught a lot of fish and rarely went more than a few minutes without a bite.  This is a highly recommended fishing trip in the San Diego Bay area.  We stayed in the harbor which made for calm waters and an enjoyable experience.  Thanks!
