Astoria Chinook/Coho “Buoy 10” • 2 adultsTook a Full day trip with Joel from anvil. Weather was ruff, fishing was tuff. It’s called fishing not catching, the boat was able to land around a 20lbs native that seen another day. Cap Joel has a beautiful boat that’s a fishing machine, capt Joel is full of knowledge and my hats off to his skill. I’d recommend this trip to anyone in the future.

Chinook (King) Salmon Columbia Riv. • 2 adultsWe had an excellent time. Only 1 person on the boat caught anything but I guess thats why it is called fishing. Will do this again
Response from CaptainI’m glad you had fun Tim. That was some slow fishing for sure. Let’s get you earlier in the season next time. Thanks for joining me!
What's biting with August, Astoria, OR Salmon Fishing in Astoria
Excellent angling opportunities can still be found around Buoy 10. Get a taste of the action and then head offshore for Dungeness Crab, Tuna, and the last of the Halibut, if the annual quota still hasn't been met.
