We had a fantastic day on the water with Butch and Roy fishing on the Gypsy Girl. We were hoping to catch a Sailfish. We ended up catching 6. Everyone in the boat caught a Sailfish and one of my daughters caught 3. After we caught the Sailfish we wanted to go after something for dinner. Took a trip recently with Captain Butch and his mate Christian and had an amazing time.  Boat was nice, crew was very accommodating and they did their best to show us a good time. Showed up during a slow period but they still put us on multiple fish and we did as well or better than anybody else we chatted with afterwards. Thanks again for an amazing memory and hope to get back out there sometime soon!

Always good to be on the water and Captain Butch and his first mate, Jose did everything to get us a hit.  Reeled in a sailfish and when it slowed down we asked if we could try for some dinner.  Got that to!  They are friendly, fun, professional, safety conscience and always available to answer questions.  Lunch was amazing! Can’t wait to go back next year! Thanks again for a great day!

Deckmate “Christian” was pretty much the best one that I’ve ever had in over 50 years of fishing.  He was working with both outriggers, 6 lines, two multi-squid teasers, boat cleanliness, food, drink and fish cleaning continuously every minute of 10 hour trip. Captain Butch was personable and showed his experience running the boat on the difficult, late fishing season trip working hard to find and catch fish even though luck was not with us.

The day started off a bit slow, but these guys were great and we tried a few different spots and techniques, there was no hestiation to go out further to find the fish.  I really liked that!  The boat was spotless, hot lunch was better than I expected ;)  It was a great day, and i’ll use these guys again when in here in Costa Rica!
