It was a little windy, but we still managed to find and catch a bonefish and some nice yellow jacks, along with some great snorkeling??

Wahooo and blackfin tunas

We started the day catching a few blackfin tuna and bonita, then went after the wahoo, it didnt take long, and we were hooked up to a nice wahoo and managed to land it with our client Mark?

Inshore Spin and Spin fishing

We had a blast, fishing inshore, and around the reefs with light tackle spinning gear catching many different types of fish! This was a 6 hour fishing trip. Great day and great memories!

Bonefish and Triggerfish on the flats!

This was a half day flats fishing trip, mixed combo with fly and spin gear. Managed to land a few good ones for just a few hours of fishing.

My goodness, to start, the water and forestry in Roatan is absolutely beautiful! We got the best views from our Captains’ boat! We started out our adventure by catching Tuna, and Skip Jack, our bait. Honestly, we were looking forward to the Tuna and the captain actually made us Sashimi with it and sided it with delicious local pineapple (best we’ve ever had). I had taken my kids and grandkids out in some great waters (Cabo, Nassau, and Cozmel) and got skunked 3 times in a row. I told Captain Lewis that my grandkids were loosing interest, and they just wanted to catch fish, I didn’t care what kind. Capt. Lewis is a tournament fisherman, but also a dad. We had a great time. Fun for the whole family. Captain taught us how to fly fish and after a lil instruction we caught the first bonefish! Then a snapper and a couple jacks. The highlight was a 3’ barracuda that put up about a 10 minute fight and right as I got it to the boat slipped away! We obtain some island history, information about crabs that we had seen the day before and snorkeled! We should have booked an 8 hour expedition!

captain worked hard for pelagic without much sucess. so we changed gears and did some snapper fishing before a snorkeling stop. Had a fabulous lunch at a local restaurant where they cooked up our snapper. It was delicious. My daughters and I had a great time.
