Panhandle Salt was born out of a love for land-based fishing. While surf fishing in Perdido Key, I often found myself answering questions from curious visitors about my techniques and approach. That curiosity inspired me to turn my passion into a business.
Panhandle Salt Surf Fishing is a one-of-a-kind operation you won't find anywhere else. We have a physical shop where we create and sell our own surf fishing tackle, collaborate with other guides in the area, and share our beach adventures through our active YouTube channel.
We're a family-run business, consisting of my wife, son, and myself. Our growth has even allowed us to create job opportunities for other land-based guides in the area.

3.5 Hour Trip – Surf Fishing • 4 adults • 1 childTook the family out with Donnie this morning, had a great trip. The bite was tough and something was cleaning our hooks off but Donnie taught us a bunch and we were able to pull in a small shark.

3.5 Hour Trip – Surf Fishing • 1 adultA note to Fishing Booker... please promote more trips likes like this. Not everyone who enjoys fishing can go out on a boat. Blane delivers more than expected for this under-served market. He's got the experience, equipment and the ability to read the current conditions for optimal fishing results. I was very fortunate to find him- he helped me greatly during my brief trip to the Flora-Bama- providing advice on where to fish from shore and what gear would be best. He even gave some pretied rigs to use for the rest of my trip. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions we were able to land a few fish including a cow nosed ray. Blane was super professional and delivered more than expected. I would recommend his services to anyone in the area.

With humid weather and consistent rain showers in the afternoons, most Pensacola fishing charters fish early in the day. Catch slot Redfish around the docks and small Mahi Mahi just beyond the nearshore reefs.
