- I grew up playing sports and eventually found myself playing baseball at The University of Tampa. I fished every so often but picked it up and ran with it in my free time learning the ropes by fishing in Tampa Bay. I recently moved back home to Jacksonville because I discovered it is by far one of the best surf fisheries in all of Florida. I decided I was going to start First Coast Surf Fishing and run guided trips to share my love for the sport. My land-based fishing resume speaks for itself, and I have obtained a lot of knowledge over the last few years regarding both surf and shark fishing. Booking a trip will not only allow you a chance at these targeted species, but I will share the knowledge that I have learned so that you may take it with you and apply it to your own fishing adventures.
- Techniques
- Surf fishing has been a passion of mine since I began catching large predatory fish right from the sand. Catching these fish right where you swim is something you'd have to experience to explain. Anything that swims along the east coast nearshore is possible right from the beach, and sharing the experience with others has now become my passion.
