This was our family’s first-ever charter fishing experience, and Mario completely exceeded every expectation we had. He definitely raised the bar for any future charter we book.

We were looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing trip, and he absolutely delivered. Mario worked hard to keep us on fish all day and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and our boys connected with him right away.

Mario took care of everything behind the scenes—from baiting hooks and safely handling the fish to teaching us along the way—so all we had to do was enjoy the excitement of reeling them in. It made for such a fun, stress-free experience for our whole family.

We chose to do catch and release, and what a day it was! These photos are just a few of the fish we caught. We landed 15+ redfish (we honestly lost count after 15), plus a catfish and even a tilapia. It was an incredibly successful day on the water!

His boat was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of shade, which made a huge difference on a hot Texas day. We never felt rushed and were able to relax, laugh, and simply enjoy the experience.

We left with incredible memories, our phones full of photos and videos, and a family already talking about our next trip.

The biggest compliment we can give is this: before we even made it home, both of our boys said that every time we come to San Antonio, they want to go fishing with Mario. That’s about as good of a review as you can get.

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip with Mario as our guide! He was incredibly fun, hilarious, and so down-to-earth—it felt like spending the day on the water with an old friend. He kept the energy up the entire trip, and we caught a ton of fish!

there was five people in the Boat in my group, and we all caught our limit of nice size red fish. Next time. I decide to go out Mario martinez will be. The guy will be calling.

Maybe not a active day for fish but Mario made sure before we left that everyone in the crew caught something! I would 100% recommend him to anyone for A trip!

Captain Mario did a great job.  He worked hard to get us a catch as the fish were not cooperating very well today.  He has as much desire to see his clients catch fish as the clients do.  I would certainly book again with Captain Mario.
