    Fishing with Raymond

Great fishing charter! Captain Britt did a fantastic job of putting us on fish we could land in the boat. He was very knowledgeable and hard working. Great with kids too! We had a great time and look forward to going out with him again in the future.

Come see what a real professional guide looks like…

    3/4 Day Trip2 adults

Capt Ray is incredibly knowledgeable, courteous and professional. During my two day trip, Capt Ray was able to overcome very tough conditions and not only did he put me on the reds we were able to nail some over slot fish on top water. Not to be out done, he then made a run to the beach side where we able to land a 25lb gag grouper. Highly recommend Spring Tide for experienced and novice fishermen alike. I’ll be going back out with this great guide.

Trout and Redfish are heating up!

Mar 3, 2021 • Surf City
It's been a great fall and winter. Now that temperatures are going to begin climbing, expect some great topwater action on the coming weeks. If trophy trout are what you want to target, the easiest way to fool the big ones is on topwater lures. Nice schools of redfish have been working the shallows too. Fly, and casting jigs have both produced primarliy sight fishing. It may be the off season for tourists, but not the fish! Book a trip, let's go fishing! Capt. Ray Brittain Spring Tide Guide Service

Bonito are on the way!!!

Mar 3, 2021 • Surf City
The Atlantic Bonito season is fast and furious when they show! Mid April to mid May is the best time to target these incredibly hard fighting, great eating fish. Seared lightly, or in a sushi roll, they are excellent. We are booking up fast for this years run. If you are going to be in the area and would like to tangle with a tuna on crotch rocket, book now! Season is just around the corner, and I'm excited! Capt. Ray Brittain Spring Tide Guide Service

Red drum fishing is on fire!

May 27, 2018 • Surf City
Memorial day weekend has come, and so have the Redfish! With the recent warming trends, the fish are moving in and setting up in their summer locations. Left the dock around noon and in no time we were in the fish! We put the first lines in the water and it was double and triple hookups for the next 3 hours straight, Landing around 40 total. Some of the best redfishing so far this season, looks like it will be a great one!
