Half Day Trip - Nearshore (AM) • 2 adultsAfter many failed or sub par trips,I finally had the trip of my life. It started with a 6 foot spinner shark that jumped about a dozen times before he snapped the line. After no bites for a few minutes, Captain Chris moved out to the reef and the real fun began. In the span of 2 1/2 hours on the reef we were able to boat 4 King Mackerel between 15 and 20 pounds each plus a decent sized Spanish Mackerel. Even though we caught our limit I was able to catch and release 7 more Kings. Great trip with a great Captain. I highly recommend booking with Captain Chris.

Half Day Trip - Nearshore (AM) • 3 adults • 1 childThis was an awesome trip! We caught such a wide variety of fish. We caught crevalle jacks, sea trout, black seabass, whiting, a little bonnethead shark, a really big red drum, a big stingray, and a couple catfish. Chris worked really hard to keep us moving and on the fish the whole time. He was really knowledgeable, really good and patient with the kids (10 and 13) and easy to visit with. The boat was very clean and all the equipment very nice. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and will ask for him again if we make our way back to Florida again!

Half Day Trip – Inshore (PM) • 4 adults • 2 childrenMyself, wife and two kids went out with Captain Chris. The boat was very nice and clean. Rods and reels were high quality. He worked hard to keep us on fish. He was able to keep my daughter fishing the entire trip - which is saying something! I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip with Chris. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about fishing as well as the area. We caught 9 different species! We brought back enough flounder and trout for a nice meal. Which we took to the Conch House. I highly recommend Conche House!

Full Day Trip – Nearshore • 2 adultsCaptain Chris seriosuly knows his stuff and how to find the fish. Ended the day keeping 3 Kings and throwing back a couple along with some monster red snapper and some grunts. Chris never sat still, whatever he did was to ensure our best odds of catching fish. On top of it all we got to see some dolphins and some tarpon/shark feeding. It was a great time and I’ll be back!

Although this is usually the wettest month of the year, it has some big rewards for anglers. Sailfish can be found balling bait just 25 miles offshore and flood tides inshore make for amazing sight fishing.

It’s been a great start to winter!!

This isnt a one day report, more of a seasonal report. The inshore redfish bite has been the best we’ve seen in years. Regulation changes made a few years ago have led to a healthy fishery for our redfish and some amazing fishing! The bite has been a little tide dependent, better on the bottom half of the tide as of late. With that being said for the next couple months if you book I will try and cater your trip around the tide and your schedule the best we can. Plenty of black drum, sheepshead and juvenile lemon sharks around as well! Let’s go fishing!

Filling the freezer!

The weather is cooling off but the bite is heating up! Nonstop action today with redfish and black drum! The guys took enough home to fill the freezer for a while! Not everyday is like this but the bite has been very good and this time of year the fishing can be top notch! We’re targeting black drum, redfish, speckled trout and sheepshead this time of year. All are a blast to catch and make for great table fare so lets go fishing!!

Beautiful weather and great fishing!

The weather the last few days has been nothing short of amazing. Spring is right around the corner and i cant wait! The redfish bite has been phenomenal this week! Lots of slot sized reds around and plenty of shorts in between. Some nice trout here and there as well as sheepshead. Its still a little early in the season but its great to see some flounder starting to show up! Lets go fishing!

Absolutely amazing day with great clients! We worked to find the fish this morning but once we found them it was on! Bluefish and pompano every cast for the last hour and a half of the trip. A few sheepshead mixed in as well for good measure

Another post hurricane smackdown!

This report is the last three days wrapped into one but to say this has been the best tgree day stretch inshore is an understatement! 50 plus fish days all of the last 3 days after milton. Lots of upper and over slot redfish in the 25”-30” range and tons of black drum from 16”-24” with some 10 pounders mixed in. Speckled trout bite is stsrting to heat up and the sheepshead have started to show up in force as well, making for one of my favorite times of year and some of the best table fare our inshore fishery has to offer. They won’t all be like these last few days but if the fishing stays anywhere close to what its been we’re in for an awesome fall and winter. Lets get out there and make some memories on the water together!

Before and after the hurricane. Awesome

Hurricane helene was definitely a bad one for our friends on the west coast and gave us some pretty nasty winds here on the east coast. But the fishing for a couple days before and after the storm has been stellar! Tuesday and Wednesday we were on an incredible black drum and sheepshead bite with 50 plus fish each day. Today we found the redfish and it was another incredible bite! We boated over 40 redfish today! From over slot fish, slot fish and short redfish with a few mangrove snapper and sea trout mixed in. The fishing is awesome right now and its a think north east Florida dreams are made of! Ive got Availablity all this week so book a trip and lets go fishing!
