Great overall experience with captain Dave from start to finish, with excellent communication and a great time out fishing with me and my boys. We caught a good variety of fish and the star of the trip, we got two bonnet head sharks!! My sons really wanted to catch a shark and we got two. Beat fish he ever caught and put up a great fight! Highly recommend captain Dave and mighty Mako!

Capt David was great to work with to develop the best plan for catching fish (bend the pole) to excite everyone,  especially the grandson. Capt David was great with my grandson and helped continue his love of fishing. Would recommend for anyone that wants someone that strives to make your fishing trip successful.

We had a wonderful fishing excursion with Captain Dave for Father’s Day.  A day to remember!  We caught Whiting, Bull Shark, Black Tip Shark, Hammerhead Shark and Stingray. This will be a memory we will always cherish thanks to David.  We highly recommend Mighty Mako and will book with him again if traveling back to Hilton Head.  Our boys are 9 and 11, they thought Captain Dave was the BEST, as did we.  Thank you David for creating memories to last a life time.

Capitan Dave is awesome. Had a great time lots of laughs and kept catching fish under early tough conditions. Lots to see and a beautiful area.

We have used several guide services here on HHI and though I will never judge a captain by his catch, I will judge one by his effort, attention to his craft and his ability to engage and interact with his guests. We caught plenty of sharks and fish both large and small but Captain Dave truly made the trip memorable and special. We will definitely keep him on speed dial.
