  Half Day Hemingway Fishing adventures

  Half Day Trip – Nearshore (AM) on June 1, 2022 • 4 adults • 1 child

  I rarely post reviews but this one is a must. Capt Vince and Capt Samdro knocked it out of the park for me and my family. He took myself, my wife, and two daughters out on the gulf today. I obviously had nothing but high expectations and each and every one was fulfilled. In just a short boat ride, we were instantly catching fish. Both captains were very helpful, and after a short “how to” my 10 year old daughter hooked up first lol. We continued catching and catching and when the bite slowed down we moved, and each time the bite slowed we moved.Most captains will stay put to save fuel, but not Vince. The boat was absolutely gorgeous, and the tackle was flawless. Every time there was a hook without bait, Vince and Samdro gladly rebaited them without hesitation. These two worked their tails off to get us fish non stop, leaving us without disappointment. At the end of the day, we ended up catching at least 10 different species and Vince filleted the keepers and not having a way to cook our catch Vince recommended a local restaurant that cooked them 5 different ways for us. I highly recommend Capt Vince and Capt Samdro, we will definitely fish with them again!!

  3/4 day trip with Captain Vince

  3/4 Day Trip – Nearshore on December 6, 2021 • 2 adults

  I needed to take my daughter on a fishing trip while she was visiting and chose Hemingway. Great decision. Because of the low tide he said we could cancel with no penalty. We chose to continue and caught a nice Whiting and a few small fish. He then took us on out where we had one of our best days ever. Beautiful weather and pretty much continually catching fish. Assorted Grunts and a number of Lane Snappers and a lot of undersized grouper. He was extremely helpful. Would go again and recommend to everyone. We had a great meal that night and froze some for later.

  Near Shore Fishing 3/4 day (6 hours) fishing

  3/4 Day Trip – Nearshore on August 17, 2021 • 2 adults

  https://youtu.be/0DA6eZa7K60 This was me and my brothers first time salt water fishing so we may be biased but it was great. We didn't know what to expect so everything was new and exciting and the captain made it enjoyable. I can say overall, this was a great first experience. We caught a bunch of snappers, two Spanish mackerels, and a few of other variety fish. Only thing was the fish was kind of on the small side. We will have to book a deep water fishing next time.   The trip with Captain Forrest was extremely awesome. Although we didn’t get any big fish it wasn’t for the lack of trying The captain had us on fish with in 10min of leaving the dock and my wife had her first fish in the boat within 12min of leaving the dock. Absolutely awesome time and very knowledgeable of the fishing we were doing as well as great with my 10yr old son who had a blast till the Dramamine kick his butt and made him really tired. Over all highly recommended from a very abode fresh water fisherman!!!!!

  4 hr family trip

  Half Day Trip – Offshore (PM) on June 12, 2021 • 4 adults

  Captain Vince took us out to some great spots, we didn’t waste any time and started catching and releasing beautiful fish right away. Most beautiful of the day was definitely the hogfish! Vince was super helpful in teaching the two less experienced fishers some good skills for offshore/nearshore fishing. We didn’t go home with anything large enough to eat but we went home with nice memories and newfound confidence! Would definitely consider going further offshore with Vince in the future.
