We had an absolute blast fishing with Ronnie! He was super knowledgeable and did an awesome job keeping us on fish throughout the entire trip. One thing I really appreciated was that he didn’t just point somewhere and tell us “cast there.” He would actually explain where we needed to cast and why, what the fish were doing, and what we were trying to accomplish. You could tell he really knew the water and wanted us to understand what we were doing instead of just blindly following instructions.

Ronnie had us limited out on trout by the time we were only about halfway through the trip. He cleaned all of our trout for us and immediately got them on ice to keep them in the best condition possible, then we headed back out on the water and spent the rest of the trip targeting bass.

He was also extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and we had a blast the entire time. Ronnie even invited us to come out a little early and didn’t just cut the trip off right at 11, so we really appreciated the extra time he gave us on the water.

We caught plenty of fish, learned a lot, and had a great experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Ronnie to anyone looking for a guide in the Branson area, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again next time I get the chance!

Captain Ronnie is awesome.  very flexible with our time as he moved it up to help us hit the sweet spot on our 4hr charter.  Had my son and I on bass first thing.  Hitting some awesome spots and awesome cover full of fish.  Clear water makes it like fishing in an aquarium.  A lot different from the waters of Louisiana that we are used to.  Then for the second half Captain Ronnie got us on rainbows and we limited out in no time.  An awesome day for my son and I.  One that we will remember for a long time.  Can’t wait to come back.

Ronnie and his boat were outstanding. We’re from Texas and only fish for bass, crappie and bream. Ronnie, taught us all about fishing for trout. He took extra care of my wife and put her on fish all day. Just kidding, Ronnie put both us of on fish all day. We caught about 40 fish give or take a few. My wife put 20 in the boat, and was broke off a couple times. Ronnie is a great Christian man and we are as well so we had a great time talking about different bible chapters. First and foremost, Captain Ronnie Lawson was absolutely a class act.  My family and I, (4 of us) booked a four hr afternoon trip and was able to limit out and had a blast.  It was hot, mid 90’s, but that didn’t stop Ronnie from putting us on fish.  We were offered cold water on board and had cleaned and bagged fish before we left the dock.  Even got to keep the four fish he caught.  10 out of 10 for sure.  Thank you for the great time and even better memories!  When we come back, we’ll be back on the boat with Fish On Guide Service.

From the literal first cast to the last cast docking at the end, it was non stop! Ronnie was a blast and super encouraging throughout the whole time. Took two teenage boys and they would do it again in a heart beat. Reached out limit for trout and able to catch bigger ones and replace through the day. Would recommend to anyone coming near Branson.
