Captain Brian is a USCG-licensed 200 ton master captain who works full time as a local fishing guide on the inshore and nearshore waters near Naples, Florida. Our team is consists of Captain William, Captain Adam, and we provide trips for anglers of all ages and ability levels. 4 Hour Trip • 4 adults • 1 childThe trip mainly focuses on reef fish, grouper, snapper, grunts etc. we caught several of these species and three keeper Grunts. CPT. William was very easy going and a joy to fish with. He made sure we had a good time and was very helpful with my 10 yr old who was anxious about the trip. While we didn't "catch the big one" my family enjoyed our time with CPT. William and the day out, my youngest said it was his favorite fishing trip ever. I would highly recommend the 4 hour trip for families with kids or people just wanting to fish, catch lunch and enjoy a day out in the water.

4 Hour - AM Adventure • 6 adults • 3 childrenTrip was fantastic, and the kids had an amazing time! Captain Brian was awesome—friendly, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. My 11-year-old daughter and I caught a big flounder as our second fish of the day, which was definitely a highlight of the trip. Captain Brian worked to put us on fish, and after the trip he cleaned and filleted our catch, which made it even better. He made the entire experience fun and memorable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

6 Hour Trip (AM) • 5 adultsWe had a great trip with Ricky! We caught a good variety of fish. He kept working to get us on different fish and working for the large grouper we kept talking about. We didn’t catch one but not due to his lack of trying. Boat was nice, would definitely recommend.

Epic week of adventures out of Wiggins P

The fishing has been ON out of Wiggins Pass with Captain Brian and Crew at Smokin’ Hooks. We’ve landed Pompano, Barracuda, Cobia, Macks, Snook, Snapper and more this week despite some windy weather.
Even better than the fishing is the memories made this week. We can’t recall a more solid week of epic customers - just back to back awesome people on board. Just know you made our week!

Goliath Grouper time

We’ve been picking back up with the Summer bite out of Wiggins Pass. The waters have warmed up and the Barracuda bite along with the Goliath Grouper has been very active.
There’s been a nice Gulfshore breeze that provides some relief for the afternoon trips. We have been able to avoid the typical afternoon showers and have been on the water most days for both morning and afternoon trips. Thinking about what to do to stay active and have fun? Winter 2020 - Fishing with Smokin’ Hooks

This past week has been phenomenal. Today on an 8 hour trip we ran a total of only 12 miles and were catching fish all day. So many that FWC came by at the dock to check us out!
Left the docks at 8 from Wiggins Pass and journeyed out after a wicked cold front with some variable seas. The forecast called for the seas to lay down by midday so Captain and crew were optimistic. Within fifteen minutes of anchoring down we landed a nice King Mackeral and had a Triggerfish on board. The day proved fruitful with Kings, Snapper, Spanish Mackeral hooking up with our lines. The rest of the weeks been active, even yesterday with a cold front and backwater fishing we hooked up to a nice Redfish and some good keepers.

October Fishing is still going strong

Took a group of three out 3-6 miles to several spots out of Wiggins Pass in North Naples. The goal today was to keep catching and bring plenty home for dinner so we didn't target any game fish. Kept busy the entire 5 hour trip and filled the bucket. Kingfish are starting to hit, keeper Lane Snappers, Silver Snappers - good variety today. The Groupers were a bit undersized but they are still out there. Overall, excellent for mid-October.
Charters haven't been as frequent post - hurricane Irma however EVERY trip has been jammin' - no bad days!
