My wife and I had an amazing day with this Captain and Crew! We trolled for grouper all around the islands while learning about the vast history of the volcanic eruptions that created Santorini. At lunch time we slipped into a cove for some snorkeling and a beautiful meal prepared by Makis, his daughter Maria, and deck hand Ilias. If you are going to fish in Santorini it has to be with Makis and crew! We certainly got a full Greek family experience.

Captain Makis and his daughter Maria and their BB 😆 Elias were great.  So much fun!  Experienced, professional and knowledgeable.  Elias was super personable and Makis knew the waters and islands like the back of his hand.  Great back story. Maria is a sweet girl that my daughter got to sit and chat with.  Unfortunately we only caught 1 fish (bluefin), they didn’t seem to be biting but they figured out how to make a lunch of it…which was delicious.  Even my 9 year old complimented... Mikas & Elios were very prompt to the dock welcoming us with high fives, smiles, and hugs. They were a wealth of knowledge in sharing the history of Santorini. Within the first few minutes of departing, we had our lines in the water in search of grouper. We caught fish right away. In addition to the fishing, we were told so many stories and pieces of history about the islands and the surrounding area, including how captain makis fits into some them. After a while we stopped in a cove in one of the volcanic islands and snorkeled a bit while they bbq’d our catch and we came back on board to maybe the best meal we had on our trip. Back at the dock we felt like we were saying so long to old friends. I can’t recommend these guys enough

Captain/owner Mikas and deckhand Elias are the best.  Comfortable well-maintained boat, great for sightseeing and getting a history of Santorini.  Oh, and by the way, we caught fish - one small bluefin tuna and a nice-sized golden grouper, and we lost two other hook-ups.  They cook your catch on board with a simple but elegant tasty meal ceviche, tomato fritters and fresh bread.  Caring and professional crew…absolutely the BEST!!!
