We can fish hard all day while targeting the fish of a lifetime or have a nice relaxing day catching fish with family and friends. Captain Dan is a third-generation Floridian who developed a passion for fishing at a young age while on fishing trips with his father. He grew up fishing the waters of Tampa Bay, The Florida Keys, and local lakes in his hometown of Lakeland FL. When he turned 18 he moved to Bradenton, FL, to be closer to the waters he enjoys fishing the most. Since that time he has honed his skills while fishing local tournaments (winning a few) and taking others out to enjoy this great fishery.     Incredible Trip

    Full Day Trip

    Can’t say enough great things about our trip with Captain Dan. We found his boat to be very comfortable and great for fishing. There’s plenty of room, storage space, and cooler space for anything that you bring with you. Capt Dan had everything ready for us, including live bait, when we arrived at the dock. We almost immediately started catching fish and had an absolute blast the entire day. He is very accommodating and really wants to make sure his clients have a great and safe time. We caught so many different species on our trip, snook, redfish, trout, sheepshead, tarpon, sharks and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few others. I’ve recommended him to everyone I’ve talked to since our trip and would highly recommend booking with him!

    Full Day Trip • 4 adults

    I have been doing more fishing lately and this was a great referral and I had a fabulous day. Great guy, Dan was a pleasure all day. The only negative was he was booked up for my 3 days left in Paradise. Y'all will have a wonderful time, we caught 20 to 30 fish.

    Full Day Trip

    Me and my family had a great time with Captain Dan and Tide & Seek Charters! Dan was patient professional, courteous and just an overall pleasure to be around. We found ourselves laughing all day long. His fishing program is top notch too. We caught mainly snook and redfish pretty much the entire time, including some nice ones. Will def book again!

Winter is finally behind us and Spring is in the air. The fishing is really starting to heat up as water temperatures increase and bait moves onto the flats. The fish are moving out of their winter pattern and are ready to feed. This is one of the best times of year to target an inshore slam (Snook, Redfish, and Trout) in large numbers. Flats fishing will only get better over the next several weeks and my calendar is filling up with very few week days left. February Fishing Outlook

After a cool start to January we finally got some warmer weather this week. The warmer weather has the fish ready to eat and we had a strong redfish bite on a January 25th full day trip. We got roughly 20 reds up to 32” along with a handful of snook and trout. The February bite will only get better as water temperatures rise and we move into spring. Some of the best Snook fishing days can come in February as the fish move onto the flats on the warmer days. Along with snook, the redfish and trout bite only gets better as we get closer to spring. February and early March is consider one of the best times of year to get a trophy sized trout in the 26” plus range.
