Captain 'Sloppy Joe' Napaver has several decades of fishing experience under his belt, but seeing the smile on his guests' faces when they reel in a big catch is something that never gets old. He's always keen on making sure everybody has a good time and the best possible chance of getting a good catch.

Half Day Trip – 4 Fisherman - 12:00 PM • 4 adultsCant say enough good things about captain joe. He is very relatable and a patient man. Takes a genuine interest in his customers. He was always on the go and boy,can he find the walleyes. We had a great experience going out and making precious moments on his charter and glad you joined us thanks again captain

Half Day Trip – 4 Fisherman - 12:00 PM • 4 adultsCaptain Joe was an awesome guy! He was really informative and taught us a lot. Fishing was slow but he also warned us that ahead of time. He worked hard to get us to catch fish. We may not have caught a lot but we still had a good time and would do it again.
Response from CaptainThanks foe the kudos.
Christopher Bacon5.0Verifiedfantastic experience!
Half Day Trip – 4 Fisherman • 2 adults • 1 childMy son and I had a fantastic experience with Captain Joe. We are beginners when it comes to fishiing and Captain Joe had all the equipment and wonderful instruction that allowed us to catch our limit for the day. We will be going back to him next time we are in Vermilion!
Response from CaptainHello Chris and Reed, Thanks for the kudos. You guys are quick learners and I enjoyed fishing with both of you. Take Care.

2 limits for my fishing buddies, John Paul & Mike. Fished in 10 to 8 feet of water with Smithwick Perfect 10 lures. 1 MPH with Pink Lemonade and Lemon Lime worked the best. Beatiful night on the water. It was as flat as a parking lot. Nice job Guys!

Fished 11 to 8 feet of water from 7:30 P.M. to 10:30 P.M. All the fish were cought in 8 feet of water. Smithwick Perfect 10 lures, 40 feet back with a Off Shore planner board, speed was 1.0 MPH. Lure color did not matter. Wind was about 8 MPH out of the ENE.
